Reflections on the Full Moon --April 17, 2011

Unfinished Communication

There is a lot riding on this full moon. If handled foolishly, you could unnecessarily burn bridges or blow things up. There is much frustration in the air. Part of this is the repressive side of Saturn, which maintains that you must do your duty and swallow your feelings. The other part is the spring energy (five planets in the sign Aries) which is very self expressive. Mars and Mercury will oppose Saturn on the Full moon, while mercury is still retrograde. This is an energetic combination with explosive potential, especially in areas having to do with communication. Do you have any undelivered or unfinished communication with another? Are you feeling frustrated or angry about a certain situation with another?

Watch out! The way you handle this means everything. With Pluto squaring both Mars and Mercury and Saturn, you could have a war on your hands if you engage in dumping, blaming or dirty tricks. Think twice.

Here are my suggestions.

Every opportunity is a healing opportunity. Many of us suffer from being repressed and silenced since childhood. Now is the time to have that conversation with the “little one” on the inside. What are the issues and memories associated with your early repression? What are the tender spots? You know. Give yourself a break by giving yourself some attention. Do not talk yourself out of your feelings. That is repression. You are good at that already. Give witness to what is happening on the inside. Give support to that side of you seeking to be heard and recognized. This will defuse the situation and help you put things in perspective.

With Uranus and Jupiter in Aries, you want change now. Start making it real with your own actions without blaming someone else. The status quo will eventually shift. What is your plan or, at least, your modus operandi? Put that new Spring energy to work in actions that will make changes in your life. Get physical. Get in shape. Honor the temple of your body.

Don’t feed on negativity in the outer world. Having to listen to your own negativity is bad enough. Stay away from it and its volatility. Get outside. Enjoy the burgeoning life of this season. Do something that makes YOU happy.

You must learn to balance your needs to express yourself with the needs of your partnerships and the responsibilities you perform in the world. You can do this in constructive ways by listening, cooperating and speaking. Because there are tensions or frustrations, you do not need to blow everything up.

If you go to “war” at this time expect the harshest consequences for your actions. Make sure that your freedom or dignity is worth risking any radical push back from others.

6.	Let the light of Spirit guide you in all that you do. Meditation, prayer or a walk in the woods are wonderful ways to connect with the “wee small voice” of the deeper (higher) self.
