~last nights sleepy drunks / hanging out on Brownstone stoops / spent bottles in paper bags~

~haiku disciples / should count the ways love reaches / not dead syllables~

~I drop kick Haiku / thru goal posts of tradition / broke words strewn on grass~

~haiku's panting breathe / seeks a voyeur's probing eyes / innocence lost twice~

~at premature death / they cried ferociously / for Love's missed chances~

~an inspired heart / very close to bursting / like a sunflower~

~my melancholy / the flute's sad song played early / for the morning doves~

~totally disrobed / Laying in a hot springs pool / disappearing dream~

~life devoid of love / such sorrow unrealized / 'till death comes knocking~

~helping tears to form / clouds make somber piles against / lonely mountain spires~

~so proud of power / he clutches reflexively / water thru his hands~

~heart brimming over / tears from a gentle fountain / poured from mystery~

~shadows of small birds / dance across sunlit oak floors / chasing dust bunnies~

~straining to hear earth / globs of snow slide off bent limbs / heartbeat of winter~

~words chasing my heart / coquette wearing flashy clothes / hot lipstick kisses~

~the vase lies broken / To your eyes just shards of glass / I look for the glue~

~the vase lies broken / but time is malleable / daisies held erect~

~quantum messengers / say many lives we juggle / OK who are you?~

~nocturnal visions / wet birds never fly at night / owls cruise for prizes~

~tears coagulate / thick clouds piling up against / lonely mountain spires~

~working with my pain / never infatuated / I watch it release~
